Grace Steele Woodward

Grace Steele Woodward (1899–1987) was an American writer and historian known for her non-fiction books on historical figures and Native American tribes, including 'The Cherokees' and 'Pocahontas'. Born in Joplin, Missouri, she graduated from Webb City High School in 1917 and authored numerous works focusing on topics like the Cherokee people.[1][2][3]
