Grace Ellison
Grace Mary Ellison (1880–1935) was a British journalist, author, and suffragette best known for her writings on Turkey, including "An Englishwoman in a Turkish Harem" and "The Disadvantages of Being a Woman." She reported widely as a foreign correspondent, advocated for women’s access to education in Constantinople, and was also involved in founding the French Flag Nursing Corps during World War I.
