Gordon Neufeld
Gordon Neufeld is a Vancouver-based developmental psychologist born in 1946, renowned for his attachment-based developmental approach and over 50 years of experience working with children, youth, and their caregivers.[1][2] He is the bestselling author of 'Hold On to Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More Than Peers,' co-authored with Gabor Maté, and founder of the Neufeld Institute, which provides training for parents and professionals.[1][4] Neufeld taught psychology at the University of British Columbia for 20 years and developed theories on attachment, aggression, bullying, and anxiety.[1][6]
