Gordon

Richard Gordon (born Gordon Stanley Benton Ostlere, 1921–2017) was an English ship's surgeon and anaesthetist who wrote numerous novels, screenplays, and accounts of popular history, primarily focusing on the practice of medicine. He is best known for his medical fiction, including the 'Doctor' series, which blends humor with realistic portrayals of hospital life.
