GOODMAN STEVEN M

Steven Michael Goodman, born August 3, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, is an American conservation biologist and field biologist at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, specializing in the recent and extinct fauna of Madagascar.[1][2] He earned a B.S. from the University of Michigan in 1984, a Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg in 2000, and an H.D.R. from the University of Paris-Sud in 2005, and co-authored the seminal work 'The Natural History of Madagascar' in 2003.[1][3] In 2005, he received a MacArthur Fellowship for his contributions.[1]
