Glen Cook
Glen Cook is an American author of science fiction and fantasy, best known for his dark military fantasy series 'The Black Company' and the humorous fantasy detective series 'Garrett P.I.' Born in New York City in 1944, he grew up in northern California, served in the U.S. Navy, and attended the Clarion Writer's Workshop before launching his prolific writing career in 1971.
