Gleason Leonard Archer
Gleason Leonard Archer Jr. (1916–2004) was an American biblical scholar, theologian, and educator notable for his work on major Bible translations including the NASB (1971) and NIV (1978). He served as a professor of Old Testament and biblical languages at Fuller Theological Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and was well known for his defense of biblical inerrancy through harmonizations and exegesis of biblical inconsistencies.
