Giza Lopes

Giza Lopes, PhD, is a scholar and public-interest leader in youth justice and criminal justice policy, and serves as Executive Director of the New York State Youth Justice Institute at the University at Albany. Her research has examined the collateral consequences of youth contact with the criminal justice system, and she is also the author of "Dying with Dignity: A Legal Approach to Assisted Death."
