Giuseppe Ungaretti

Giuseppe Ungaretti (1888–1970) was an Italian poet and a founder of Hermeticism, a modernist movement that reshaped Italian poetry. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, he later studied in Paris and became one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Italian literature.
