Ginny Stibolt

Ginny Stibolt, holding an M.S. in botany from the University of Maryland, is a lifelong gardener, naturalist, and author who began her career as a teacher of math, science, business, and computer courses from 7th grade through college. Since moving to North Florida in 2004, she has focused on Florida native plant gardening, writing hundreds of articles and four peer-reviewed books on the subject published by University Press of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Native Plant Society, speaks regularly to environmental and gardening groups, and contributes to radio programs on sustainable living.
