Giles Laroche

Giles Laroche is an American children's book illustrator and fine artist born in northern New Hampshire, where the landscapes inspired his artistic career. He developed his unique cut-paper-collage technique, described as 'paper relief,' while working at an architectural firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and in his studios in Salem, Massachusetts, and Washington, New Hampshire during the 1980s.
