Giles Gordon

Giles Alexander Esmé Gordon (1940-2003) was a Scottish literary agent, publisher, and writer based in London, known for representing authors like Peter Ackroyd, Vikram Seth, and Fay Weldon at Sheil Land Associates. He began his career in publishing with Secker and Warburg, Penguin Books, and Victor Gollancz, edited the Penguin Modern Playwrights series, and wrote six novels in the 1970s, including About a Marriage, often drawing from personal experiences.
