Giada De Laurentiis is an Italian-American chef, television personality, author, and restaurateur, born in Rome as the granddaughter of film producer Dino De Laurentiis. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, worked in Los Angeles restaurants like Spago, and rose to fame on Food Network with shows like Everyday Italian after being discovered via a Food & Wine article in 2002. An Emmy winner and New York Times bestselling cookbook author, she owns restaurants in Las Vegas and Baltimore and launched the platform Giadzy.com.
