Gerhard Stickel (EFNIL)

Gerhard Stickel is a German linguist and language-policy specialist, born in Bochum in 1937. He was director of the Leibniz Institute for the German Language in Mannheim until 2002 and co-founded the European Federation of National Institutions for Language (EFNIL), where he also served as president.[1][2]
