Gerhard Ebeling

Gerhard Ebeling (1912–2001) was a German Lutheran theologian and one of the leading figures of 20th-century new hermeneutic theology, closely associated with Ernst Fuchs. He was also an influential Luther scholar whose work shaped postwar German Protestant theology.
