Gérard Macé

Gérard Macé is a French poet, essayist, translator, critic, and photographer born in Paris on December 4, 1946. He published his first book, Le jardin des langues, in 1974 with Gallimard, and has since produced nearly 50 works blending diverse genres, often exploring memory, language, literature, and photography. His contributions earned him the Grand Prix de Poésie from the Académie Française in 2008 for his life's work.
