Gerard Lebel

Gérard Lebel (1930–2020) was a Quebec-born author and politician who wrote genealogy books such as 'Our French-Canadian Ancestors' and 'Nos ancêtres: biographies d'ancêtres.' Born in Rivière-du-Loup, he became an attorney, served as Deputy Speaker and Speaker of the Quebec Legislative Assembly, and as Minister of Communications from 1969 to 1970.
