Gerald Clifford Gardner (1929–2020) was an American author, screenwriter, comics writer, story editor, and producer who became widely known for his television work and for writing more than 30 books. He frequently collaborated with Dee Caruso and wrote for series including Gilligan’s Island, The Monkees, and Get Smart, as well as the bestseller Who’s In Charge Here?
