George Vafiadis

George Vafiadis was an actor, stage director, voice-actor, theatre producer, and founder of three Maine theatre companies, including Acadia Repertory Company in 1973 and Penobscot Theatre Company in 1983.[1][2] Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, he was raised there and in Texas, studying theater at the University of Texas in Austin.[1][3] He passed away on March 9, 2022, in Bradenton, Florida, at age 88 from complications of Parkinson's disease.[1]
