George Shannon

George Shannon (born February 14, 1952) is an American author and storyteller known for children's books and young adult novels. He worked as a librarian before becoming a professional storyteller and lecturer in 1978, and has written numerous works including folk-tale retellings and the award-winning novel Unlived Affections.
