George P. Shultz
George P. Shultz was an American government official, economist, and business executive who served as Secretary of State under Ronald Reagan (1982-1989) and held three other Cabinet positions under Richard Nixon. He played a crucial role in ending the Cold War through diplomatic negotiations with the Soviet Union, including the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty of 1987, and later pursued nuclear disarmament initiatives.
