George MacLeod
George Fielden MacLeod, Baron MacLeod of Fuinary (1895–1991), was a Scottish soldier, clergyman, and one of the most influential Church of Scotland ministers of the 20th century. He founded the Iona Community on the island of Iona and served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1957. In 1967, he became the only Church of Scotland minister to be awarded a peerage, receiving the title Baron MacLeod of Fuinary[1][3][5].
