George Albert Boulenger
George Albert Boulenger (1858-1937) was a Belgian-British zoologist renowned for his expertise in taxonomy, particularly describing over 2,000 new species of fish, reptiles, and amphibians.[1][2] He worked at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences and later at the British Museum (Natural History), authoring numerous papers and monographs on herpetology and ichthyology.[1][2] In his later years, he studied botany, especially roses.[1]
