Georg Moller
Georg Moller (1784–1852) was a prominent German architect known for his work in Greek Revival and Romanticist styles, alongside Karl Friedrich Schinkel and Leo von Klenze. A descendant of a Norwegian family of clergy, he excelled in engineering and spatial composition, notably in the Ludwigskirche in Darmstadt, and played a key role in preserving historic buildings, including the completion of Cologne Cathedral. In 1818, he convinced the Grand Duke of Hessen-Darmstadt to enact Germany's first law protecting ancient buildings.
