Georg Iggers

Georg G. Iggers (1926–2017) was a German-born American historian best known as a leading scholar of historiography and the history of historical thought. He taught for decades at the University at Buffalo and was also an active civil rights advocate, working alongside his wife Wilma Iggers on social justice causes.
