Geoffrey Barraclough

Geoffrey Barraclough (1908–1984) was an English historian initially known for his expertise in medieval history and German history. He later became a pioneer in global and contemporary history, developing innovative approaches to historical study such as comparative history, which examined past events in relation to the present world.
