Geoff Hohwald

Geoff Hohwald is a master banjo instructor and author who began playing banjo in 1964 in Columbus, Ohio, and has been playing and teaching for over fifty years. He is renowned for his instructional materials, particularly his 'Banjo Primer' which has sold over 200,000 copies since 1982, and has authored over a dozen other instructional books and multimedia materials that have sold several million copies worldwide. He founded The Banjo Warehouse in 2017, an online business specializing in used and vintage banjos, and has taught thousands of students through various workshops and retreats.
