Gb Benedek

George Bernard Benedek is an American physicist and Alfred H. Caspary Professor Emeritus of Physics and Biological Physics at MIT. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University in 1953 and invented quasi-elastic light scattering spectroscopy. His research focuses on phase transitions, self-assembly, and aggregation of biological molecules, and he has published over 160 research papers across multiple fields including high pressure physics and critical phenomena.
