Gavin Aung Than is a New York Times bestselling cartoonist based in Perth, Australia, of Burmese heritage, best known as the creator of the Zen Pencils cartoon blog, which adapts inspirational quotes into comic stories. After eight years in corporate graphic design, he quit his job, sold his house, and launched Zen Pencils in 2012, leading to success with books like the Super Sidekicks series and upcoming projects such as Creature Clinic and the semi-autobiographical graphic novel Scribble.
