Gary North

Gary Kilgore North (1942–2022) was an American writer, Austrian School economic historian, and leading figure in the Christian reconstructionist movement. He authored over fifty books on Reformed Protestant theology, economics, and history, advocating for 'Christian economics' based on biblical principles, the abolition of fractional-reserve banking, and a return to the gold standard. North held a PhD in history from the University of California, Riverside and was an Associated Scholar of the Mises Institute.
