Garwood Whaley

Garwood Whaley (born November 21, 1942) is an American percussionist, educator, and music publisher best known as the founder of Meredith Music Publications. His percussion method books, including audition etudes and instructional studies, have become standard resources for students and performers, and he has also held leadership roles in music education and the Percussive Arts Society.
