Gabrielle Hatfield

Gabrielle Hatfield is a herbalist and ethnobotanist who studies the historic use of plants and writes on folk medicine. Reportedly, she studied Botany at Cambridge and earned a doctorate from Edinburgh; her works include *Hatfield's Herbal: The Curious Stories of Britain's Wild Plants*, *Country Remedies: Traditional East Anglian Plant Remedies in the Twentieth Century*, and *Encyclopedia of Folk Medicine: Old World and New World Traditions*.[1]
