Gabriela Tijerina

Gabriela Tijerina is a Latina illustrator, author, and cartoonist from Laredo, Texas, who earned her BFA in illustration and animation from Otis College of Art and Design in 2022. She published her debut children's book, Abuela's Fideo: a Story of a Grandma's Love, in 2022, which explores themes of grief and family and received a Commended Title from the Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs in 2023. She is currently based in San Antonio, Texas.[1]
