Gabriel Cousens

Gabriel Cousens, born May 14, 1943, is an American holistic physician, homeopath, psychiatrist, and self-proclaimed rabbi who graduated from Columbia Medical School in 1969 and completed his psychiatry residency in 1973. He founded the Essene Order of Light in 1992 and the Tree of Life Foundation and Rejuvenation Center in 1993-1994 in Patagonia, Arizona, promoting live-food nutrition, raw veganism, and therapies to reverse diabetes and other chronic diseases. Cousens is a prolific author of books like 'There Is a Cure for Diabetes' and 'Conscious Eating,' and has conducted humanitarian work since the 1960s.
