G Henslow

George Henslow (1835–1925) was an English Anglican clergyman, botanist, and author. He was noted for his botanical writings and for defending Lamarckian evolution, including the inheritance of acquired characteristics in plants. He was the son of the botanist John Stevens Henslow.
