G Cabrera Infante
Guillermo Cabrera Infante, often known by the pseudonym G. Caín, was a prominent Cuban novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and film critic who became the most famous Cuban writer in exile and a leading voice against Fidel Castro's regime[1][3]. He is best known for his groundbreaking novel Tres tristes tigres (Three Trapped Tigers), which is frequently compared to James Joyce's Ulysses for its linguistic complexity and postmodern style[1][6]. In 1997, he received Spain's prestigious Cervantes Prize for his contributions to Spanish-language literature[2][3].
