FRITZ

Jean Fritz (1915–2017) was an American children's author best known for lively historical fiction and biographies that made American history engaging for young readers. Born in China to American missionary parents, she wrote nearly 50 books and won major honors including the Newbery Honor, the Regina Medal, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Award.
