Friedrich Kerst

Friedrich Kerst (1870–1961) was a German writer, local historian, teacher, and art consultant from Elberfeld, now part of Wuppertal. He is best known for his books of Beethoven reminiscences, which were widely reprinted and translated into English, and he also wrote works on local history and other composers.
