Fredson Bowers
Fredson Bowers (1905–1991) was an American bibliographer, textual scholar, and literary critic best known for shaping modern bibliographical studies and textual criticism. He taught at Harvard, Princeton, and the University of Virginia, and wrote influential works including Principles of Bibliographical Description.
