Frederick L. Kitterle

Frederick L. Kitterle (1943-2005) was a psychologist and academic administrator who served as dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Northern Illinois University from 1995 to 2005, where he championed undergraduate students. Previously, he was chairman of the psychology department at the University of Toledo. He authored books such as *Cerebral Laterality* and *Hemispheric Communication*, and published research on hemispheric differences in spatial frequency processing.[1][2][3][4][5]
