Frederic Laurence Holmes

Frederic Lawrence Holmes (1932–2003) was an American historian of science, known especially for his work on the history of chemistry, medicine, and biology. He served as Avalon Professor of the History of Medicine at Yale University and was recognized for his scholarship on experimental science and scientific biography.
