Fred E. Gross

Fred E. Gross was a Louisville-based journalist, author, and Holocaust survivor best known for his memoir *One Step Ahead of Hitler: A Jewish Child's Journey through France*. He was also a prominent advocate for Holocaust and genocide education, and he died in 2021 at the age of 85.[1][2]
