Fred Brown
Fredric Brown (1906–1972) was an American science fiction, fantasy, and mystery writer known for his witty style, ingenious short-short stories, and surprise endings. He also wrote acclaimed detective novels, including The Fabulous Clipjoint, which won an Edgar Award, and several of his stories were adapted for television and film.
