Franz Krommer

Franz Krommer was a Czech composer and violinist of the Classical era, active primarily in Vienna. He was highly regarded for his wind chamber music and orchestral works, and he held the position of court composer for the Austrian Emperor. His music reflects the transition from the Classical to the early Romantic style.
