Frank Whitford

Frank Whitford was a British art historian, critic, and author who was recognized as one of the leading experts on 20th-century German and Austrian art. He lectured at University College London and the University of Cambridge, wrote several books, and served as an art critic for newspapers including the Sunday Times.[1][3]
