Frank Dempster Sherman
Frank Dempster Sherman (1860–1916) was an American poet, architect, mathematician, and academic born in Peekskill, New York. He graduated from Columbia University with a PhB in architecture in 1884, taught mathematics and graphics there from 1887 until becoming a professor in 1904, and published several poetry collections, sometimes under the pseudonym Felix Carmen. In his later years, he researched Sherman family genealogy and died in New York City.
