Frank Davidson
Frank P. Davidson was a renowned engineer and researcher who spent nearly 40 years at MIT as a Senior Research Associate, working on macro-engineering and large-scale infrastructure problems. He is credited with founding the Channel Tunnel Study Group in 1957 and coining the term "Chunnel," playing a pivotal role in the Channel Tunnel's completion in 1994. Davidson established the field of macro-engineering, authored over 50 works across 90 publications, and received the French Legion of Honor for his contributions.
