Frank Chiarelli

Frank Chiarelli (1931–2024) was a renowned Canadian ice hockey player who captained Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to its first US college national title in 1954, setting multiple NCAA records including career goals per game and single-season goals (55).[1][2] After his playing career, he became a math teacher, high school hockey coach, and later a businessman and developer in Ottawa.[3] He also authored books such as 'Sour Grapes and Sweet Success'.[4]
