Francis Gladstone

Francis Edward Gladstone (1845–1928) was an English organist and composer related to politician William Ewart Gladstone. He served as organist at Holy Trinity Church in Weston-super-Mare (1864-66), Norwich Cathedral (1877-81), and Director of Music at St Mary of the Angels, Bayswater (1881–94). He was Professor of Organ (1885–99) and Professor of Harmony and Counterpoint (1884–1910) at the Royal College of Music, earning a Mus.Doc. from Cambridge University.[1]
