Francis Bacon
Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Alban, was an English philosopher, statesman, and author born in London on 22 January 1561 who served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor under King James I. He is known as the father of empiricism and a pioneer of the scientific method, advocating for knowledge based on inductive reasoning and careful observation of nature.
